Deeds and other related documents may be mailed in using the following addresses:

Drop Box

Deeds and other related documents may be placed in the drop box located on the wall beside the Office of Finance counter.

  • The black deed drop box will be available between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm during weekdays.

Please Note: No deeds will be accepted over the Customer Service counter.

Deed Processing & Pickup

  • All submitted deeds, whether by mail or drop box will be processed in the order received.
  • Deed packages completed by the Recordation Clerk will be delivered to the Land Records for recording.
  • Caroline County collects recordation taxes on property transfers and deeds of trusts at the rate of $5 per $500 of consideration.
