Visitation Information

Visitation is a privilege provided to incarcerated individuals and their families. Please note that visits may be suspended or terminated if either the incarcerated individual or visitor violates facility rules. Visitors who violate rules may also lose future visitation privileges.

How Visits Work

  • Platform: All visits are currently conducted through Google Duo.
    • The incarcerated individual must initiate the call.
    • Visitors should download Google Duo on their device before the scheduled visit.
  • Scheduling: Visitation times are based on the incarcerated individual’s assigned housing unit.
  • Quarantine: Individuals in quarantine are not eligible for visitation.

Housing Unit Visitation Schedule

  • A-Wing: Monday 1:00–2:00 PM | Tuesday 7:00–8:00 PM
  • E-Wing: Monday 2:00–3:00 PM | Wednesday 7:00–8:00 PM
  • Medical: Monday 3:00–4:00 PM | Tuesday 8:00–9:00 PM
  • Male Work: Tuesday 1:00–2:00 PM | Wednesday 8:00–9:00 PM
  • C-Wing: Tuesday 2:00–3:00 PM | Thursday 7:00–8:00 PM
  • F-Wing: Wednesday 1:00–2:00 PM | Monday 7:00–8:00 PM

Professional Visits

  • In-person: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • After-hours appointments: May be arranged by contacting Support Services.

Longer or alternate visitation hours may be approved in certain circumstances. Please contact Support Services at 410-479-4126 for more information.

What To Bring Inmates

During the first seven working days an inmate is incarcerated, you can bring:

  • White undershirts in an unopened package
  • White underpants (boxers, briefs, or panties) in an unopened package
  • White bras (without underwire) in an unopened package
  • White socks in an unopened package

Thermal underwear is available through the inmate commissary and may not be brought in. All medication must be approved by our medical department before it will be accepted. You cannot bring in shoes. After the first seven working days of incarceration, friends and family cannot bring in any items for inmates.

Visitation Rules
Visitors are expected to follow the following rules:

  • Personal items are not allowed in the visiting area such as handbags, cell phones, pagers, umbrellas, cameras, cigarettes, lighters, etc.
  • A visitor may not visit the same inmate more than once per day.
  • An adult must accompany visitors under 18 years of age.
  • A maximum of two children and two adults, or three children and one adult are permitted per visit.
  • Loitering, profanity and/or loud disruptive behavior shall not be permitted in the visiting area. Eating and/or drinking also are prohibited.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside the lobby, restrooms, or anywhere on the grounds of the Jail.
  • Handbags are not allowed in the visiting area.
  • Physical contact between inmates and visitors is prohibited.
  • Visitors who smuggle or attempt to smuggle contraband into the facility will be prosecuted.

Visitors who do not comply with the following dress code will be denied admittance:

  • Attire must be appropriate for an environment where children may be present.
  • Shorts, skirts, and dresses must reach the knee.
  • Slits in skirts or dresses may be no higher than the knee.
  • No see-through or sheer clothing.
  • No spandex or form-fitting clothing.
  • Shoulders, back, midriff, and excessive cleavage/bust must be covered.
  • Footwear and undergarments must be worn.
  • No clothing displaying profanity, obscene images, or promoting drugs, alcohol, violence or gangs is permitted.
