JONESTOWN PARK
The County Commissioners of Caroline County, on behalf of the Caroline County Department of Planning and Codes, are accepting proposals for the design and construction of Stormwater Management Improvements in the Jonestown Community Park, 4472 Nelpine Road, Preston, MD 21655, including:
- Construction of two rain gardens at the park pavilion and installation of downspouts on pavilion to direct roof flow to rain gardens; and
- Design and construction of a grassed swale adjacent to the playground and open space areas
- Installation of native species in new rain gardens and in areas identified for conservation plantings.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on October 4, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Pavilion at Jonestown Park located at 4472 Nelpine Road Preston, MD 21655. After the Pre-Bid meeting, a site walk-through will be held starting at Jonestown Park on Nelpine Road. This is the bidders' opportunity to enter the private properties during the bidding process. Bidders shall not enter the private properties listed in the bid form at any time during the bid process.
Bids must be received in the offices of the Caroline County Commissioners, County Courthouse located at 109 Market Street, Denton, Maryland 21629, by no later than 10:00 am October 27, 2023, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any/or all bids.
